I like to keep both columns of my page equally long! La la la la

What I think is important when someone draws you something (or really, applies to any favors):
Bullet; Black

Keep in mind that the person may not be as free as you think he/she is, so drawing something for you (either voluntarily or requested) takes mental effort, time, and other things that may "cost" the artist.
Bullet; Black

So ALWAYS thank him/her first, to show your appreciation (if the art isn't meant to be offensive), even if you don't like it (be it the art-style, the accuracy, etc)

Then compliment and make the person feel "Okay, so this drawing this was worth my time and effort" by telling him/her what you LIKED about the picture, and NOT what you DON'T like.

THEN you may add some criticisms (if you know the person wants some of it) and/or tell him/her what was wrong with the picture (in a polite way).

People will then be happier to draw for you, knowing that you are a great person. They might even volunteer to draw more, knowing that you deserve it. :D
