Tell me about it-- he takes the rap for everything and everyone, it seems. I don't see where he really did anything wrong; he was either keeping an oath he made, keeping the other gods from breaking an oath, doing what Odin told him to do, or telling the unwelcome truth. It frustrates me to no end when people try to put him in a box. He-- all of them-- are so much more complex than "good guy, bad guy." Even Odin and Thor have their darker aspects.

I do so love the Norse pantheon for that very reason.. Every deity is more grey than black or white. Not "good," not "bad," but everything in between. I've always had a special place in my heart for Loki and his children.
