:3 They were really good... good beat, good music, good compositions overall. Great musicians, the load of them. :3 Got on a list of the biggest CDs, number ten I think, was a few years ago, just before their third release I think. :3 I loved that album. I know you still love them, but don't you think they kind of had no where else to go after being so successful with their first album and kind of lost it? Just a little?

I love the whole album. :3 Jenny Was A Friend of Mine, Mr. Brightside, Andy You're A Star, Change Your Mind, Believe Me Natalie, Midnight Show... among my favorites, even though I could listen to the whole album non-stop. :3
I used to have Evanescence lyrics in my sig, but I thought I should rotate every once in a while... :3

Lol yeah I really should change mine, there are so many great lyrics! I kinda see what your saying about LP. I mean Hybrid Theory was awesome and in my opinion Meteora was even better - I listen to both of them all the time (as well as the CD of them live in Texas) but I was really disappointed when they started doing all this townie hip hop crap with Jay Z and stuff. I've only got into them fairly recently, over the past year or so, but I wish they'd carried on producing albums like their first two, not remixes and that kinda thing. But, as you say, they might've been better to quit while they were ahead. I know Mike's in a band called Fort Minor now but I've never heard any of their stuff (probably cos they're not well known in England) but apparently it's more hip hoppy stuff which I'm really not into so I don't think I'll be buying their CDs!

I thought Hybrid Theory was their best, and in Meteora they went a bit softer and lost some of their hard rock vibes. It was obviously more driven towards Mike. :3 I think hip hop is his sort of thing, which is why the band is "splitting up". I mean, have you gone to LP's website lately? Where in the world did Chester go?! D:
I dun think you'd complain, but it's like they aren't LP anymore with the two of them singing together.
And yeah, when they had that whole Collision Course thing with Jay-Z... D:

Lol I agree totally. No I haven't visited their website but I haven't heard a thing about them here in the UK in AGES. Everyone seems to hate them now though. Except I nearly died of happiness when the video for Crawling came on a 'Headbanger Countdown' on one of the music channels recently lol.

If you were someone like me, who has been with them ever since they first came out, you would probably be just like those people who hate them now. They've changed so much, gotten so much softer, it's amazing - and not in a good way. Since you just got into them like a year ago, I'm guessing you got hooked to their newer stuff first and then back tracked to their older album, before they hooked up with Jay-Z.
Crawling is my favorite song from them... I'm gonna do a tribute to that song someday, I won't leave dA until I do. :3

I don't feel the need to call myself anything but who I really am, because that's just faking reality. Of course I don't know you, but the fact remains that you are putting up an image of yourself, clearly with intention, to get other people to realize the depth of your attraction to Mike. That's all fine, and I'm not stating anything but what you've already made clear. I'm sorry I've offended you over something so trivial and insignificant, it wasn't my intention. However, I'm more sorry that I actually took the time to look at your gallery and praise it when this is the response I get.
