# About me

I love old vintage photos and like to make new images in that style. Scenes of decay, abandonment and isolation comfort me for psychological reasons I don't completely understand. And I find people's faces unendingly fascinating. I want to do more portraits. Oh, and dogs. Dogs are awesome. They have fascinating faces, too.

As you can see it gives you the freedom to skip the frame hocuspocus and leave the photo in its original proportions, simply adding a little digital chemistry...

Working so much with squares is new to me (except for many of my recent gallery images which were taken on square negatives), and is inspired by being here on DA where so many people produce such great images in squares.
