Andrew refers to a pilot I did for Nickelodeon that aired on the 'Oh Yeah! Cartoons' show on Nickelodeon about a billion trillion years ago.
It was the first cartoon I ever wrote, produced, directed, storyboarded and designed.
As such, it looks a lot like a student film - but I'm still relatively proud of it considering how inexperienced I was.

Actually, I felt the same way you did before I got into animation.
Fortunately, there are other parts of the job (i.e. storyboarding and directing) that don't require the tedium you describe.
Nonetheless, your style is very cool and illustrative - which doesn't lend itself to animation anyway... so keep doing your own stuff!
