I'm sorry! I got a baby in the house and I don't have much free time to make videos. If and when the opportunity comes, I will create more content on YouTube.

Damn that's horrible. Nothing worse than being sick when it's warm AND on your Birthday. Talk about a Double Whammy!!!!!!
But at least your Family made it up to you so it's Alllllllllllll To The Good Baby Bubba! :icogrin--plz:
By the way, you still making Video Tuts on Gradient Mesh Vectors? I can't even find your old blog that had Tutorials on this.

I haven't done a video tut in years. We had a baby two years ago and my free time disappeared and the video tuts got pushed to the side. My artwork kinda fell to side as well, I worked on a few pieces, but I never posted them here. So between work and hobby art, I really didn't have time. I'll try to get back to making tuts one of these days, but I'll start posting artwork sometime next week, that's the plan. As for my old blog, I think one of those tuts is in my scraps section.

Ahhhh Fatherhood slowed things down. I overstand even though I don't have kids. Congrats on the Son/Daughter.
I do have a question about the Hair--you don't Gradient Mesh that do you? I tried before and it came out pretty horrible.

I appreciate it and it's a girl.
Creating hair can be easy or one the hardest parts of your mesh. On a normal basis, I don't mesh the hair, it depends though. If the hair is basic (pulled back in a ponytail, something simple), mesh it. But it's normally never that simple, lol.
For the harder hairstyles, I use the pen tool to trace the shape of the hair and fill that shape with darkest color hair on the head, this will be your base layer for your hair. From there, I add brush strokes to fill in the highlight hairs where needed. I get my hair brushes off of Deviantart too. Go to vector resources and type in "hair brush." I use a Wacom tablet and this helps me control the neatness of the hair strokes. I hope this helps you. Good luck Dwayne, I'm here if you need me.

Thanks for the Vote of Confidence on that. I've gotten better with how to control the Pen tool in regards to adjusting the Stroke. Last time I worked on it I finally figured that out so now my edges of the Penstroke don't look sloppy anymore, they come to a sharp point. I was assuming to just use Penstrokes on the Hair but if you say that Brushes work best I'll probably try that out, I've always wondered what they were good for.

One more thing, when you use the brushes, adjust the opacity. Go between 70% for darker strokes and 30% for lighter strokes, switch between the two opacities. Put your darker hair strokes on one layer and your lighter strokes on the layer above the darker strokes, just an idea.

You did some good work there. Work on your blending and smoothing out the skin, it will take your work to the next level. Keep practicing in those areas, but good work though.
