# About me
I'm a retired squid (US Navy) living on an island between Seattle WA and Vancouver BC. I started photography as a means to record my journey through my Navy career, now it's a creative outlet.Between living in the midst of this natural wonderland and my travels to various locations around the globe (Antarctica, Sicily, Japan, Wake island, Hawaii, Portugal, etc.) I have had the opportunity to photograph some fantastic locations.
I've done lots of landscapes and I'm satisfied with that expereince. I've done several personal shoots for friends over the years and have recently been attempting to expand that expereince.
So, currently I'm experimenting, trying new things, and trying to find my niche. Not an easy task, primarily shooting people is very difficult. Then taking the concepts I see clearly in my mind and making them images is never easy in whatever medium. Add on I have various ideas that range from classic photography to plain out fook'n wierd, it's been interesting to say the least.
But, in the end I'm having fun, I've met some fantastic people, and if I can produce some images that people enjoy I've done something.
Current Residence: An island off the coast of Asscrackistan, WA They call it Whidbey, I call it home.
Favourite genre of music: Whatever beats my drum at the moment, why limit yourself?
Skin of choice: Soft, silky, preferably a females. ;)

Thank you for the sentiment, I had a long love/hate relationship with the canoe club, but in the end I find I miss it.Β I suppose doing anything for 20 years will mold your expectations tho, I hope to grow out of it.Β
I am going to the Oyster Run, aside from those times I was out of state we never miss it.Β More like an annual holiday than just an event.Β Great day of people watching and sweet machines.

i tried logging onto my model mayhem today but it wouldn't let me . i was gonna get some cristism and see if you had any more tips. i'm trying to get older people to volunteer but i'm not having any luck.

People can be funny that way. But at least you're doing well finding people to sit for you, I've been having a heck of a time getting people to set dates and get shoots done lately. Work with what you have available and keep it up.

yeah i'm glad some people are volunteering. i just want some adults and older teenagers to want to get pictures done too. so i have a variety of different experiences . =] what have you been up to?

You know how it goes, the older you get the less time you have fopr random stuff. You'll get some tho, just takes time is all.
I'm finishing up editing on a shoot I did in Bellinghma last Sunday, would probably go faster if I wasn't so burned out after work every night. That and there are a lot of good images (shot 146 frames) and I always hate narrowing them down to the few I'll use for my profiles. that's alwaysthe hardest thing for me, tweaking the images to get the proper look, selecting the best, tweaking some more, selecting the best of those,... Fun times!
