I'm fine, and my little one too. She's no baby anymore, though - she already goes to kindergarten. Time really flies, and nothing to make you realise that but watching a kid grow up, huh?

Late? Look at me.. Responding months later.. I am actually around, I check on people's journals and such during my breaks at work, which are incredibly short, or even non-existent, since I got behind in my work and I have to work during lunch and such to catch up.. Ah well..

I know all about Fenris being so damn addictive! I actually went with Anders the first time I played. Then I gave Fenris a try and I thought he was way better, he makes more sense. But Anders' character and story are interesting.
As cool as their friendship/rivalry romance system is, it totally made no sense when I played an angry, aggressive mage. I sent no mage to the Gallows prison, but I was aggressive when talking to Anders, so he was on rivalry. And when his romance triggered, he accused me of sending mages to the Gallows. I was like WTF?! Ah well, that system would have worked way better in DAO, it's too bad they changed for that new dialogue system.. They could have made Hawke talk, even if we had to first read through a wall of text.. Meh..

Kindergarten?! You mean daycare? In France, kindergarten starts at 3 years old, here in the US it starts at 6 years old. So I get a bit confused in all this.. Sorry..

My daughter's a big girl alright! She's as tall as some 4 year-old kids.. I have to dress her up in bigger sizes, it makes things difficult.. And she's a bit of a bully too.. At the daycare they asked me if she had a brother who was rough with her, and I was like.. "Uh.. No.. No brother.." She's super active, but at least she sleeps well!

That portrait I made of Chantal was hideous.. I made a bunch of progress since! If you could make me a complete description of any character you want painted, or send me a link to one, I can start on it as soon as I've finished the portrait I'm working on now. Also, pictures help, so any pictures of people, characters, clothing, weapons and anything else you think would help would be appreciated!

Thanks so much for your nice words - I'm very happy you think Bishop's in character, and that you like Lily. Kaana and me put a lot of love and thought into that story, so it's always good to hear it paid off.

No, the sequel is not forgotten - I miss writing very much, and I SO hope that between nappies, feeding the baby and trying to get her to sleep I will find some time for it. Probably when she's a little older, and I can pass her on to her daddy for a bit longer...

So you really started reading it? You're very brave! But your English is good, so I see no reason why you should have difficulties reading the story.

I'm so happy you like it, though it's really more a girly story. But it's great to hear you like our writing Thank you!

Lily is more Kaana's child than mine, and she'll be happy to hear you like her. She really did a wonderful job creating her. It sure was not easy, throwing an ordinary girl in with Bishop (who, according to the D&D rules, at his level is kind of a one-man-army...), and not have her seem insipid. But Kaana managed to make her seem strong, despite her comparative weakness. She's truly a very gifted writer.

Bishop, on the other hand, is my part, and I'm glad you like him too, despite him being such a bastard. It's true, he's a bit like House, but House, in the end, is much nicer. At least he does not go around killing people.

Well, so thanks again for reading, and for letting us know you liked it!

haha yup, I had nothing to do these days at work and I thought " hey! maybe time to start reading ... so I could learn all that Bishop's secrets and become a super cool guy me too " ( just being silly )

but seriously yes, =] it's pretty well written and a pleasure to read , I'm not very far in the story yet ... I'll give you feedbacks when I'll reach chapter 10 or so
but yes, it's really nice and I like the way you made the narration and how you put in evidence Bishop's states of mind and he's kinda cool indeed the way you describe him ( haha ... owww well House wouldn't mind killing some people neither I guess )


( haha as I told Kaana, I wish I could write stories like that ... I've always wanted to make a sci-fi stuff with spaceships, robots and all that ... I like writting, writing don't like me urrgg lol )

I'd be happy to hear what you think, when you've read more. I've written more Bishop stories, but this one, together with Kaana... there's a lot of love and thought we put into it.

Why don't you just go ahead an try writing a sci-fi story, if you feel like it? Writing can be a lot of fun. It's like reading, only you got to say what happens
