The big difference between requests and commissions is that requests aren't guaranteed in any way, whereas commissions have set timelines and are guaranteed to be fully completed pieces (as opposed to, say, a rough sketch).

Hiya! Long story short: maybe. Requests are all about whims for me. Shoot me a note about what you're and I'll let you know if it's something I'll consider doing. :) (Smile)
If you want a guaranteed timeline or a specific level of quality and completion (fully shaded vs a rough sketch kinda thing), though, then a commission is a far better way to go.
