Introductions:Hi! I'm gttorres, (or gtΒ², my artist signature name)!
I'm happy to be part of a community of art lovers like myself where we can share our love and passion for an incredible and beautiful gift of creativity, expression, imagination, and meaning that not everyone is born with.
As such, I am excited to share my art and works with fellow deviants here in this online art community. 
About Me:I am currently a university student pursuing a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Creative Writing. I previously attempted to major in the art of making Pikachu origami , cookie baking
, being cute & endearing 
, and having good humor 
. I have since succeeded and gained degrees in at least 3 of these 4 areas. I think. ;P I absolutely LOVE my college experience so far and I LOVE my university! :D It's opened up a huge world to me I have never known before and helped me discover who I am a little bit more than I ever have before, so I am grateful and blessed and so very proud of being a student and receiving an education there. :
I have been making art since I was 3 or 4 and have not stopped ever since. I won an art competition when I was in 1st grade for 1st prize (yep!)
. I took art lessons outside of school, but I mostly self-taught myself how to make and develop and improve my skill and prowess and style in art. 8-) I was one of four staff artists for my high school student-run newspaper. 
I also created designs for several items like shirts and posters for students groups in high school and recently in my university.I enjoy making art from drawing, painting, photographing, designing, collage-making, origami folding, and only very occasionally, crafts. I also like making novels, comics, and graphic novels.
For video games, I'm an avid die-hard fan of the Kingdom Hearts Saga (Best games of all time!), the Professor Layton series, and some of the Final Fantasy Games.
For books, one of my favorites is Harry Potter, with Luna Lovegood is my favorite HP character. =) (I was also a member of the newly formed Muggle Quidditch Team in my school) Other favorite books include books by author Eva Ibbotson, "The Little Prince," "The Prophet," "To Kill A Mockingbird," "Les Miserables," "Persuasion," "Jane Eyre," "The Crucible," and the Holy Bible.
For movies, well, I have many, so I'll just name a few: "August Rush," "Letters to Juliet," "Jane Eyre," "The Princess Bride," "Frozen," and any Disney or Pixar film.
Musicals? "The Phantom of the Opera," "Les Miserables," "West Side Story," "The Sound of Music," "The Music Man," "Beauty and the Beast," "Mary Poppins."
Music? I love Praise & Worship, Choir, Broadway, A Capella, Classical, Opera, Pop.
I have two dogs, both of them are golden mini Aussie labradoodles, (and one of them who loves my sneakers!).
I think Shakespeare and scientists are AWESOME.
I'm nice because I actually like to be nice. It's not cool to be mean!
I like being a kind, endearing, and loving person.
I like cute little kids. They are a joy to be with.
I'm a proud and devout Roman Catholic. I believe in Almighty God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and am not afraid to admit it or show it. I love the Book of Psalms, my favorite gospel is the Gospel of John, the Book of John is my favorite section of the Bible, and my favorite verse is Jeremiah 31:3, which I use as my personal tagline nowadays for many accounts I have.
Let's admit it, Twilight is NOT literature, but I love the vocabulary used in the books!
Art and creativity are two things you are either born with or without. I'm lucky and blessed to have these two things. I don't need other..."stuff"... to make me creative or make me an artist.
