thanks for the time you took to look through my submissions and sharing your views. I can accept your point of view but after reading some of the comments including yours on my deform series I regret I didn't explain what I wanted to "express" through them. I mean it seems what it looks so obvious to me is not so obvious to everyone as well which is a pretty normal situation it is just that so often we forget to consider it. I also realized that the most of the people "taste" in this deviantart place is inclined to the technical aspect of the image. so they are more sensible about how "accurate" something was made rather than about the statement behind the image. so it seems it is more about the "look" rather than the "content". well the way I work is pretty the opposite. I don't mind much about the technical realization of my images. I am not trying to make them "real" or accurate in the terms of how things exist in real and natural life but prefer to try to make a statement. so my intention with the deform series was not to work on this in the way to "cheat" the eye about what they are about. it even would be senseless I think since they were even meant to be a completely non-logical forms that were torn out of the reality and didn't want to have nothing to do with it in the terms of forms and shapes. the only important thing about them was that they were able to link to a female human body even if they are surely not that. I had also a pretty bad argument with the deviant managers because they deleted two of my images because they just wasn't able to understand my concept and they didn't consider that art is about dealing with concepts not just bare visual elements or statements as it is for example in design. so for example if you put a naked woman on an advertisement for a perfume that is just a naked woman but when a naked woman is a part of an artistic concept than it is not about the same thing anymore. so you know it is wrong to drag things out of their context and place them into an environment they don't belong to and then judge them there. anyway...to make it brief...the purpose behind the deform series is to challenge our perceptions of things. to question the identity of forms and shapes. to test how something that has a shape of something that is quite familiar to us for example a female breast "works" when placed on completely "unknown" form that is quite a mystery for our perception. so does we still see that as a breast or/and feel the same way about it or do things change. it is also a journey to the human concept of the beauty and aesthetics and how these two things are connected with the way we not only get attracted to things but also in the way we simply identify things. there was a time I visited some museum of the 1st world war and there you can also see pictures of deformed faces and bodies of the soldiers who were injured by bombs and grenades and so on. I mean like half of their faces were missing and so on and there was just a "hole" in the middle of their face. so you know I realized it is even difficult to identify such a deformed being as a human being you know. so the deform series are also about this aspect of our perception. like is something that looks like a human hand enough to make the whole form "human" already? well I hope I made my point...

>>>
I've been looking at your deform series... Whish kicks ass i might add... and I think this is probibly one of the weakers ones in terms of originality. It seems like you did it "to do it" not to puch your medium further. The top half is pretty tight, but the bottom past near the groin with the fingers doesn't seem right.
In your other deforms the idea is that the image COULD really happen, just in a normal non drug induced reality it probibly wont. The bottom half of this image is pretty clearly a reflected image. If that were fixed or hidden in someway I think this would be a stronger piece.

I don't mean to put down your art. I'm critiqueing it because I see tallent and technical ability. You art is very interesting and original, and with a few changes it could be better. Take it or leave it, and feel free to rip my art appart. Thats why I post it.

Requiem for a Dream is a Great movie, but I can't change the word favorite so it works for me... it CAN be a favorite on many terms, it wakes people up, and I love showing it to people to wake them up from their little realities about the seriousness of drug abuse.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.
