Hello :) (Smile) I've started a few customs for my niece Sophie and was wondering what paints/equipment you use to do a recolour. All of your ponies (I know you're not doing them any more though!) seem to look so flawless and smooth. Do you airbrush by chance? Also, how did you get the G4Zilla Luna and Celestia's hair to look so crimpy?

Hopefully that's not too many questions :x (Mad) Thank you for your time!

PS, I've got to say, I only got into this because of her, but your work is so lovely that I've been inspired to make one of my own too! So thanks for that ;D

Yes, I airbrush my ponies. I crimped the hair by braiding and heatsetting it, but a crimping iron works as well :D (Big Grin)

Thank you very much for the reply c: I'm going to try the nylon hair with a crimper and see how it turns out. I'll also try to paint with my utterly terrible airbrush (it's very old and horribly cheap) too, but that probably wont go well haha!

Yes, I paint only with acrylics. I clean my brushes with winsor & newton brush cleaner on a regular basis.

It depends on how long you make it. Anywhere from 2-3 hanks to 5ish hanks.
