I write orc fan fic and draw orcish fan art under the pen name Helena Markos (www.fanfiction.net/u/1152859/h⦠). Because I am weird, I like to keep my professional work and my fannish obsessions as separate as possible. I created this account to share the fan art I've drawn for my own stories and for the orc stories of others.(If you know me, or think you know me, IRL, I would appreciate you keeping the fact that I write fanfic on the DL. It's not the most publicly acceptable hobby.)

I write a short story and publish a chapter every day on a Scandinavian role-play website.
The story is about a knight being used by orcs.
The knight who is wounded and orcs wants a ransom for taking care of a female orc who is a slave.
they start a relationship. He flies and takes her with him.
But many dislike the relation human orc.

Have you considered anything βChildren of Hurinβ related? Like maybe from the POV of an orc who found some pity on the old king?

I just finished Chapter 71 and I loved every word of it and eagerly await the next! I love interspecies parings (I did/am doing a Khajiit/Nord story myself) and I love the Tolkien legendarium too. I often toyed with the idea of doing a Human and Hobbit love story myself.

hi helena, honestly i have never read a book centred in a relationship (mostly history and war books, besides Tolkien of course) and i was recommended your work actually in a community. i wasnt sure i wanted to read it but once i started not only how you write but how you described things got me hooked on, besides the story of course.
Rukhash in the after in chapter 24 for instance, when she almost reached the after life.
