Umm, grandma now doesn't live in russia, because she moved to italy after her marriage. But if I remember it right she lived in some city called Ikaterinburg or something like this...( sounds like it is a german city... is there are really such a city in russia or maybe I mistaken?). Althought I didn't really asked grandma about her life in russia a lot. I went to Russia once in winter and it was uber cold there I got paniked that I'm going to frost ^^ I asked mother to help me to write some sentences, because she knows russian much better ^^ Спасибо (it sort of strange to use that screen keyboard XD)

Really, city name is similar for the German name, It probably because of "burg", and "Ekaterin" from Russian name Ekaterina. ^^ Ahah xDD Yea, Russian winters very cold, or probably in Italy too warmly.At us already month fell snow and temperature-12 on Celsius, meanwhile warmly, but in January or February there are frosts to-35, we then don't go to school because it is too cold>_<

Aww, probably yes, I don't reallu remeber the city's title, so Ekaterinburg, yes? hhhhhhhhave you been there miss? ^^ Ahh, so it has a german name? Unusual ^^ In italy it is very very hot and even winter is not cold but rainy and windy. Omama, 35 below zero is ... death? I love shining and sparkling snow. When I visited russia it was not very snowy, but the streets shined in lights, like magic

I live, in other city, in Samara, but in Ekaterinburg there live my relatives and I there sometimes happen. xDD and now what temperature in Italy?

Oh.no xDD in -35 it is possible to go on the street, it`s necessary to dress stockings, warm trousers, a down-padded coat and most main-warm cap. But freeze face and hands, therefore long it`s impossible to walk the streets. Yes, in the winter beautifully, especially after a lot of snow drops out.

Samara? Is there really such a city in Russia? OO I have seen a scary movie ( very scary) called "The Ring", there was a spirit girl called Samara, ohmygoshi Here now well, I havn't been out, but I guess it's about +6-7゜C. It is quite cold for Italy. ^^ And it was rainy yesterday and now sun is shining.
But I really can't imagine how cold it should be when it's -35... But you are lucky to have snow every year

Yes, early in the winter it looks nice, or somewhere in the woods. It`s especially beautiful when it falls wet snow from whom can sculpt snowmen. But when it gets very cold, the snow is dry and not molded. TT___TT
