My dream is to become an interior designer because I have a passion for decorating. Since I was in primary school, I have always been drawn to interior design magazines. I love to see houses with gorgeous decorations that are well designed. From there, I was inspired by the exquisite nature and the impact that interior design has on people’s lives. I was so fascinated that my parents and people around me noticed my enthusiasm in the arts and supported me with books and interior design magazines. When I was 10, I made a commitment to myself that I would become a well-known interior designer.
In the past, I loved to make decorations from Paper Mache and decorate my room with them. My Paper Mache works have been published in “Life & Family” magazine which is sold nationwide in Thailand. I was very happy and proud that my creations were good enough for the magazine. This accomplishment has inspired me to create more pieces and given me more incentive to become an interior designer. When I was 12, I was chosen to be a school representative for the junior arts and science competition. The task was to draw a futuristic world on A3 paper with oil pastels. I believe that my use of colour and my composition made my work stand out from the rest and that was the reason I won first place and was awarded a trophy! Another proud moment occurred when I was asked to design and rearrange my school’s math class. There was no space for the teacher to walk around in order to see each student's progress. With less contact with the teacher, students could not study as well. I designed a new math class and reorganized the furniture around to create more space. Friends and teachers loved the new look of the math class that I designed.
