Just not on as much, mostly.  Am tired a lot.  But doing mostly alright. 

Didn't get much in the way of get well messages.  The one from PirateKing and one mailed one from a friend on the Adult Swim boards.

Bored, wish I had some books to read, but that is normal.

Dave can't go to the library to get you any? You can, as a shut-in, ask for the Red Cross to bring you books or things you need. Or your local Neighborhood Association???

I know how you feel with pneumonia. I also have bacterial pneumonia that crept up on me until all of a sudden I'm coughing up olive green crap with flecks of blood in it. Yay. I ended up on a 10 day course of 1000 mg Cipro 2x daily. Wisconsin won't pay for much but they'll give me shit to make certain I won't get anthrax...D'OH.

We're actually next to a library.  Brooklyn Library, which is different from the NYC library system.  Don't ask me why.  But, while I've been in there and have a card, can't find anything I want to read.  Yeah, I go in with ideas, just can't find them.  I suppose I can try for online ebooks.  But I miss holding a real book.

Well, don't need any food item- Dave gets a decent amount of food stamps and I should get them soon.  As to books, most are recent and still in the hardback stage.  I wouldn't ask for any of them considering the price of hardbacks.  I would love to reread The Hobbit again.  (Lost my copy in the move.)  So if you find a copy in a book sale, that would be cool.

And I'd love to get into crafting again.  But don't know what, have no supplies, and worse, no place to set up a craft area.  Plus if it was beads, Buddy would probably want to play with them.  Beads are not good kitty treats.

So you did apply for Disability! I'm very glad about that! It turned out I get about 25$ per month fud-stamps but have never went and claimed them. Katy's talking about getting her knees re-done so I might just go and reapply for them. 25$ is still 25$ off of the grocery bill.

There are a few books I recommend if you don't mind:

Castle Waiting Books 1&2 by Linda Medley (graphic novels, should be hardbound)

Any of Mercedes Lackey "Fairy Godmother Series" I think there's 6 -- The Fairy Godmother; One Good Knight; Fortune's Fool; The Sleeping Beauty (this and the last one can only be had as a Kindle right now from libraries unless they have the paperbacks.); Beauty and the Werewolf; and A Tangled Web (which may be a novella).

Habibi by Craig Thompson (a little confabulated but such a good read! It's a Graphic Novel).

Maus: a Survivor's Tale: by Art Spiegelman (graphic Novel)

If you'd like I can send you my Copy of "When the Wind Blows". It's a movie and I have the updated copy so if you'd like it, I'd be happy to send it to you!


Or if you knit or crochet, I can send you a crap-load of yarn. I know how it is recovering form long illnesses. When I do, all I want to do is sleep. I slept from 2300 to 1430 proving once again, the Cats and I can sleep most of our days away!

Don't know what I'll get.  All I know is I signed a lot of forms.

I love graphic novels! And I've been meaning to read Maus for years.  I had the 9/11 graphic novel he did.  In the Shadow of the Towers I think it was called.  I had a lot of the 9/11 books.  All lost in the move.

Don't knit or crochet.  Tho' I've been meaning to learn to crochet for years.

Oh yes, they'll basically drown you in paperwork. If you don't or can't understand it for yourself, get Dave to do it and make him your Executor-payee like he probably was for Evie. I had to get Katy to do the same thing because all of a sudden more than a couple 100$$ blanked out my brain. Honestly. I can saw a thousand dollars but have NO clue of what it actually is.

Katy and I are going to go through our DVD VCR collections and reduce them to things we either don't want or don't use. Shall I send those to you?

Our tea would be butt-ass frozen. We have a low of 3 this evening. I don't even want to go out shopping tonight. Katy asked me to and I just looked at her and said nothing you can even bribe me with will get me out there and you don't have enough on your Amazon card right now. The Wind chill at this moment is -10. Did I mention I'm a houseplant?
