The biggest goof I did was about an error on a Mac PC. It made Jhustii, GreenLink, and yourself more, how do I put it? "Vibrant" than what I thought it would turn out... Oh well, an art board's an art board!! XP

Well then, buckle up!! We're going to Design 101. Population: Us!!
To simply put it, an Art board is like your canvas. In Adobe's designing programs, such as Photoshop, and others, you can remove a background layer. That way you don't have to spend a lot of time, carefully erasing the background. Hence, the reasoning on why/how you don't see a background of an artboard
