Favorite visual artist: I don't know what I should put here but I've been bitten by the CosPlay bug and have been downloading pictures for the past few months. Soon I'm going to upgrade to the next level and start buying prints
Favorite movies: So many... Rurouni Kenshin (the Japanese live action), Samurai X, Gladiator, Bravehart, The Patriot... it's been a long time since I watched any movies. These are some older ones I've always liked.

Tools of the Trade: Pending... but when I get home they will be leather tools. I'm also extremely handy with vehicle mechanics and electronics (I've built 2 engines, swapped axles/transmissions, and replaced almost every electrical component known to a Jeep Cherokee)

# About me

I've been here (deployed) for 2 years saving money and when I finally go home I'm going to open up my own leather crafting shop and start making authentic armor based on different games.
So far Skyrim and The Witcher have numerous items I want to make replicas of a but I also thought about making a boiled-leather version of Samus Aran's Metroid suit from Metroid II (the Gameboy version). That one will take much planning and require me to make plastic molds to wrap the leather around after heating so that one will be a very long term project.
I also like numerous animes and intend to make authentic costumes of Hajime Saito (from Samurai X) and Seijuro Hiko (the Rurouni Kenshin version). I haven't seen any great cosplays of either of them and I intend to do them justice. I've been working out for a long time and have recently altered my regime towards building a frame to match Seijuro Hiko's musculature.
