# About me
I started doing digital art (namely space and terra-space) in 2007 because I was inspired by the unlimited possibilities of creating something original. I honed my skills by trying to reproduce some other works as accurately as possible then I branched out and did my own creations using the skills I had learned. I am constantly learning better ways to make my works either more surreal or realistic and I love pushing the limits of traditional art. Due to this I frequently run into limitations either in software or hardware that I spend a lot of time resolving in order to continue my work.In 2012, I started to try another medium. I got a decent camera and started doing some photography (particularly nature and night). I enjoy this adventurous aspect, since I have to drive, hike, and run; from the most populated to the most remote places; at all hours of the day or night to capture about 200 photos at a time (maybe 10 of which will actually be used). The coolest part of all of this is that I get to see a lot of what most people don't get to see because they never venture out or because they don't pause to take it all in. Ben Canales has been my #1 inspiration in photography. His intuition, experience, creativity, and drive to capture the most breath-taking images continues to amaze me all the time.
I would consider my art more of a hobby, though I am currently trying to make a little bit of money on the side with it. I wouldn't want to make it my job. I feel that I should create my art because I want to, not because I have to in order to pay the bills. For me that would be inspiration required on demand, which is when it happens least for me. I love being in the middle of something and suddenly getting the inspiration for a piece. Not only do I get anxious to make it or capture it, but I also get to build off the original idea before actually going and doing it.
