Hey Ian,

Nope, I'm not in the UK. We have a city called London in Canada too.

Thanks for the comment on the business card designs! You got it right... the different size is meant to make a strong first mpression and make sure the recipient remembers me!

White space, if used properly (however that may be/user defined) can be a good thing. I like minimalistic things myself, but that's just me.
Another reason why I like white space is because my computer is in the back room of my house, but I can see it from the front door. Therefore, when I walk in the house, I don't have to turn on the lights, or risking tripping over anything because the white light put off by the wallpapers shines enough to where I can see
Ingenious, I know

I love your galleries, your camera speaks.
Keep it up.

Bring your complaints to the complaints forum because whining on my page isn't going to do any good. It's just falling on deaf ears. And bring your suggestions to the suggestion forum; it's why we have one. But you are wrong; the worst thing about DA is 18-year-old kids who are arrogant enough to try to spout off crap about the design of this site because they are a "webmasters". Do you have any clue how many thousands of webmasters are on this site? Do you have any clue how many are on our staff including me? Next time don't go into the general forum to spout off your drivel because no one in the general forum has the power to change anything that you want changed. The suggestion forum is there for a reason. Just because you don't get a response from us doesn't mean we didn't hear you, it's just because we didn't care what you had to say. Thanks for your time.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I offer only the truth, nothing more.

Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill

spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

Thanks for the comment on the still vase shot.
The vase was on a piece of black poster board about 6 feet from the wall which was covered in black fabric.
One hotlight (500w) was placed to the left of the vase lighting the vase only and not the background.

I am going to post some more egg shots later once I have checked them and resized them. This link will show you how I setup my makeshift studio to do the egg shots. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the comment on my Alisha portrait. The background is easy to do. Just use a plain white wall, but set up the lights so they highlight certain areas. The rest will be darker. Hope this helps!

all images should be edited. you cannot get a sharp image unless you apply SOME unsharp masking. the grain is probably due to poor scanning techniques or underexposure. c41 rarely gets bad developing, unless you're scanning from prints. even with a bad lab, grain usually only persists if you underexpose.

why not do something that can improve your images? if you refuse to put in the small effort, then you are selling your images and yourself short.

hey hey hey thanks so much for the comments on my seduction shot

the shot was originally in color, but i duotoned it to that sand/sepia-ish tone.

i wanted to maintain some natural look, enough to question the look, as you did

thanks so much, once again

thank you for your comment on [link] (you wrote that some days ago but i only noticed it now..) I appreciate any criticism from someone who is more experienced than me in photography. Yup, I still have a lot to learn

hm, you are right, it probably would have looked better if the railing was horizontal. i didn’t really think about that while i was taking the photo.
And i must admit, i am not so good in keeping my lines straight. My art reflects me better if it is not all perfect

I have reflex camera Canon too.

Thanks for the comment! I didn't include any spilt liquid in the shot because:

a) Didn't want to ruin my couch.
b) The trouble occurs after there's no more liquer to be spilled.

As for lighting, I positioned the flash over the subject, and slightly behind it. I used a piece of paper taped to the flash to direct the light down and slightly towards the camera. Very little light fell on the background. I burned the background in Photoshop to make it more dramatically dark.
