Hello. Cosmos is harder to color than I thought. I'm still not 100% sure where the light source on Cosmos is, but I'm trying. Her face is shaded and so is her rose buds, still need to do the rest of her body and roots.

hey pal just seeing how you are doing, I am about to be fully moved into my new place and thought I would see how its going cause last time we talked you said that it was being colored and that I would be able to see the most awasome thing int he world lol.

Yah, I switched over to Paint Tool Sai to do lineart instead. Inkscape is fine, but super touchy at times and still a little difficult to work. For some reason this week is dragging on; I keep thinking it's Thursday. Your picture is still open on my computer, and I have the color scheme set (I'm doing something a little new).
I'm hoping things get better in terms of motivation. After Wednesday, there's only the weekend to look forward to

I hate to be a buugger but how is the work on that title page come along. At the moment I am taking a break on the story so that I can have time to work on it on paper to make it better.

That badger...it was extremely time consuming. You NEED to dedicate a lot of time in it. First, understand the proportions. Take something small and use it as measurements (like how much space between the eyes, how many snouts long is the head, or how many heads long the body or arms are). Also, have as many reference pictures as possible. The more the merrier.
Don't be fooled by the implied simplicity of a cobra. It has a backbone and ribs that give it a triangular shape, varying thicknesses in its body, and so many scales. This is where all those pictures come in handy so you can view it many different angles.

I understand what you mean about the bones and all so I have used wires to make a some what of a better skeleton to work with.

Depending on how the finished product will turn out, just make sure your skeleton is strong and balanced. You don't want it to topple over in any direction.

I just finished up my cardboard badger project which was eating up a good amount of my time. I had to spend about 2 extra hours in lab on class days and came in for several hours on my days off. Good news is the badger is done, and I have no homework for spring break. Your picture is one of my goals, and at the moment the drawing is about 70% complete. I will be digitally inking it and coloring it.

Hello, if you're wondering about the progress of your picture, I am discussing the layout with a friend. We have decided that there was no way we could do this on a single panel, so you will be getting a comic strip instead. It is the only way to get everyone's face in with proper reactions on it.
Also, what is Dr. Tailz personality like? Is he a cold yet calculating, knowing exactly what he's doing to Cosmo? Or is he sporadic and chaotic when it comes to testing, just excited to have a rare specimen to test on?
