shrugs, thats up to you. but im just a person and i have my own troubles in life to deal with, and it wasnt possible for me to deal with what was happening in real life and comment on 76 poems at the same time. I thought you would know better than that.

Next time you read 76 poems in a 3 day period you let me know if you share your impression of each one, then Ill defend myself.

I dont do the competitions for me, I dont get anything out of it, I give away subscriptions which I pay for, to make other people happy, to help the poetic community get together, and loads of people say even if they didnt win that being listed as an entrant meant their poems and profiles got viewed by more people that month than they normally did, so its not like people didnt get anything out of it even if they werent a winner.

I couldnt comment before judging because it would of given people who entered after my comments hints on what I prefered, so I thought that would be unfair, and I commented on as many as I could afterwards but I was going through a family crisis at the time.

To be honest there are 4 other judges involved and if none of them left their impressions of your poem either, I can see why you might be irritated by the whole thing, but your toys-out-of-the-pram reaction to the whole thing pisses me off as ignorance, arrogance and ingratitude.

ingratitude? don't get me wrong.. but as I said.. I wasn't in for the prize, and I sure wasn't in for the viewcount.
I just wanted feedback from the judges.
Don't treat this as something against you. I'm not mad, upset or anything like that :) (Smile)
I just gave you feedback about what some artists would like (in this case me, but I'm sure there are more that share my feeling).
I hope my thoughts will help you.. maybe improve the process of the contest.
