I enjoy many forms of art work, including anime, space, landscape, photo manipulation, fan art, photography painting, calligraphy knitting and more. Trying to figure out if you can sale fan art on here =^-^= I was working on a pic of Celes from Final Fantasy 6 its been a while since Ive done anime work in illustrator / photo shop. I think its okay if the style is completely different and you do not have like Final Fantasy labeled anywhere ?

I know you can sell prints here, but not if it has copyrighted material in it (AKA fanart, characters from games/shows/movies, etc...). Then it's not allowed.
but you can just submit it and stuff, just not make profit off of it.

Kk. . Ya just read about that on the help forum. Fan art would probably be a good way to get viewers though ? and might make a purchase of original character art ect, I would like to start getting commissions though I could do people as anime characters and such. But I'm not sure how to advertise that and how that would work on getting them their prints and such. . .

While fanart does gain some attention, from what I have seen, the attention is just for the fanart, and not for any original art that there might be. But there are some people who will like the original art as well as the fanart.
Commissions are fairly easy to do here, but advertising for it I am kind of clueless about. (also, when you do do commissions, specify whether or not you want them paid in points (what DA's "currency" is) or actual $$$). I would suggest advertising that you do commissions on your signature (which you can access under settings), like "Commissions open" or something, so when you comment, people will notice. Also, I suggest raiding the forums/chat or whatever to see if people are commissioning other people, and see if you can get in on that :>
