Yeah, im reading one of andrew loomis' books.. and some people just say try to copy everything in the book and actually read it also

good idea
but not everything comes in books, be sure to experiment some stuff on your own thats when real creativity comes to live. it doesnt mater if you find out someone did it befor, as long as you did it with no help that is a great improvement.
