# About me

Jen grew up in Cumberland, MD and later moved to Towson, MD where she studied English and secondary education at Towson University. She taught high school English for 5 years and is now staying at home to take care of her son and pursue artistic endeavors.

Ever the Halloween baby, Jen finds herself drawn to all things melancholy and macabre. Jen is currently exploring different mediums with a heavy emphasis on acrylics and oils. Some of her favorite artists are Mark Ryden, Marion Peck, Mab Graves, Renoir, and M.C. Escher.

Ha! Thanks. My husband set up the account and then I took over. I like to pretend I'm too famous and important to do this all myself, and so I must have an assistant who manages my account for me. I mean "Jen like's to think that."
