Yes (though with my first five: Sailor Mercury, Cardcaptor Sakura, Ruby Moon Riza Hawkeye and Ran Mao, my mother played a large part in them as well. While she gave a lot of help with Emperor Lelouch as well, it was more of her helping with the load and giving support). However the gender flip Squall was more adapting clothing. I made the vest underneath completely, but the Jacket was bought as a plain shot sleeve pleather jacket and I added all the accessories, made the belt/belt loops and added the fur and 'shortened' it for the cosplay I wanted. Also made the leg bag and styled the wig. My friend made her Irvine costume.
I take great pride and pleasure in making my cosplays, for me, that's what makes half of the cosplaying experience.
