# About me

My name is Jon Rista, a resident of Colorado, US. I recently took up photography (Summer 2009). I purchased a Canon Rebel XSi (450D) to take photos of a trip of America's northern monuments and parks (Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, etc.), and have discovered that not only do I love photography, but seem to have some photographic talent. My focus is in nature photography of all kinds, primarily Landscape photography (including waterscapes and skyscapes), wild life and birds, macro photography of flora and insects, etc. I also have some interest in architecture, and hope to start photographing architecture in the coming years.
