Don't know if anybody knew but Jurassic Park Legacy is gone. Β Tyrannosaur torched everything on the 11th of June this year.

Nothing wrong with that
The new TRANSFORMERS movie is giving me some strange (yet very awesome) crossover ideas with that giant robot T. rex

I hope so too!
Sadly quite a few of the original JP cast and crew are gone... including Stan Winston

Thank you, I couldn't believe my luck when I got this username!
I saw your drawing, and it's awesome! You have some really nice colours and detail in there, but you need to add some nice deep shading to make them "pop" from the screen and give them some real weight

Yessir, JurassicPark reporting in!
I know... I can't believe how long it's been since JP1 was released wwwaaayyyy back in 1993 With all the remakes of old 80s franchises, it can't be long before someone thinks of doing a JP reboot / remake

It's ~RestrainedRaptor here, by the way.

Hey! It's Jon from the JPdb. I'm just dropping by to say hello. I read on your page that the site will be going away when Geocities closes its doors. I seriously thought they'd be around forever. If you want, I'd be able to offer you hosting on my site. I've been struggling with a new design for the site for the last 2 years, and I still can't get anywhere. Work and school have kept me really busy, but I managed to graduate with a degree in Astrophysics. Now, just to find a job in my field. That'll be a task.
Cheers,
Jon

Greetings Jon! It's nice to see JPdb is still in business, and as for your offer of some hosting space... I've thought long and hard about it and decided I won't be starting up another JP site There just isn't enough JP news or activity in the fandom to keep it going, and I hate the thought of having a "ghost" site.
Congratulations on your degree, and I hope you get a job you can really enjoy

Of course. It'll be around forever! I will hopefully buying a theme off someone from Deviant soon to re-skin the forum. Coding by myself is tough with a full-time job in the way. I remember being younger, spending all day and night writing code, making graphics. Now you have all this Web 2.0 stuff to watch out for. Browser issues. I can't keep up!
Thank you! I had an interview with NASA two months ago. Long interview process. I was one of the final two. Finally they got back to me on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I wasn't picked to work on the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescope. I'll just keep trying :-D

Aaah yes...
a good Jurassic Park fan. I remember those childhood memories of hearing that very first theatre-shaking roar, along with Jurassic Park ride as well, but mostly the movie
All of the series is amazing and lovely artwork you've got to show your fandom to it, mate

Thank you for such an awesome comment!
I love the soundtrack and the toys the most, I went to a re-screening in September last year and everyone still jumped in all the right places even after all these years

The ending song in the credits and the song where Dr. Grant sees his first dinosaur (Brachiosaurus) brought some tears to my eyes they were so beautiful... those were the good days
There was a re-screening!? I missed out on a good opportunity
and you're welcome

np! ^w^ I've always loved dinosaurs. I watched Jurassic Park so much that I broke the VHS tape and now the DVD freezes when I get to the scene when the baby Brachiosaur sneezes on Lex. I have to skip to the scene with the Gallimimus to get it working again. Now I need a new DVD.
