Hi! The pairings for The Writer's Exchange have been posted. Don't forget to post the deviation you want to be read in the group's featured folder and leave text feedback for your partner! Happy reviewing!

I posted one (obviously) but with everything going on I honestly don't have time for the reading/reviewing part of that deal, wish you would've warned me or asked me to participate in that. I apologize considering you chose me as your partner, I feel honored that you did, but I barely have time to glance through my watches and post a few words myself. I would love to be part of the group and contribute when I can, but I doubt I will have time for commitments till the summer is over.
Thanks though, and I enjoyed your review.

I posted a reply on your other comment, but I'll do it here too, I guess.
I understand if you're busy- but just to clear up confusion, could you leave the group?

I don't normally jump in on these types of things, since I have no relation to it, but the maturity level from kicking someone from the group, before giving them a chance to leave themselves, is very low. I respect that you asked her to leave, to resolve confusion. But it could've been handled much better than it was. Like was stated in another reply, My response is slightly biased, as I know the kicked member personally, but it doesn't change that it was very immature. Appreciating the literature of the soul is tough, if it's forced to be written. Literature and poetry come from the heart and soul, not the mind. It can't be pulled on a whim.

Actually, I did give her some time (a day or so, I believe- sorry if I can't remember exactly).
Wait, wait, wait- did you say forced to be written? To participate in the group you don't have to write something new every time. That's just the choice of some members. I never once told anyone that they couldn't post an older poem, letter, song, fanfiction, or any other literature.
And as I just told kagee-sakka, I didn't kick her in an act of anger or anything like that. It was just quicker for both of us if I clicked one little button- then, she didn't even have to worry with it.

Obviously we have differing views on the group, and actions in question. We could argue this, but quite frankly, I don't have the energy to debate with ignorance. Sorry if that seems rude, or uncalled for, but I'm done sugar coating everything I say to anyone.
As to the day you claim to have given her, your own group defines an 'Active Deviant' as someone who checks at least once every two days. So you're contradicting yourself. The respectable action would be to wait the given time that you yourself defines someone who can be a member of your group. Then, it would be understandable, to remove her from the group in general, and explain why you did it yourself, and not just boot and hope she doesn't notice.
Also, as for what I've observed of the group, it wasn't clear to be a writers exchange at first, explaining why so many dropped out when you posted the pairings, without consulting the members to see if they would be okay with participating. Hence why you lost 5-6 members right off the bat. You also, don't have to post your own works to appreciate true literature, so even the title of the group was misleading.
Easier, yes. Respectable, not even close. I don't even know you personally, and I already have little to no respect for you. I'm sure that means so much from a random person on DeviantArt, with no avatar picture, but I'm just stating the fact. I live by Lex Parsimoniae, (Ockham's Razor) in most of my life. Which can be extremely boiled down to 'The best solution is the simplest/one with the least assumptions.' Or, as the Ockham/Occam counterpart is stated, 'The sharpest blade cuts the closest.' Not always applicable. Sometimes you've got to deal with complications, can't always just 'click one little button' and expect everything to be peachy. You gave yourself admin control of the group, issues will come up, and how you handle them will reflect on how well your group will run.
Now, feel free to respond to me in any manner you wish, or not at all. I know given your writings you'll respond, and be more grandiloquent in a reply, trying to seem like you're rising above my intellectual level, using confusing language to seem like you are correct in your actions.
Addio, MikiraWolf, se questo Γ¨ il nostro ultimo pezzo di comunicazione, vi auguro buona fortuna nei tuoi scritti, e non sarΓ seguire il tuo percorso al di lΓ di ciΓ² che non posso evitare.

You're right, I will reply. But only for this- I have avoided any confrontation here on deviantART for almost over two years simply for the fact that I think this site is for art appreciation, not petty drama. Then, out of the blue, I have someone I don't know posting their opinions on something they have no idea about. If that sounded harsh, oh well. That's the bottom line and I dislike those who just butt into other people's business.
I do respect your views on my admin position, however, and I agree that how I deal with issues will reflect on the group and how smoothly it runs. That being said, I am in the process of writing new group rules that are extremely clear on the requirements. I don't see the big issue, though, because I've seen stricter groups than my own. Nonetheless, I will be notifying any new members upon their request to join although the rules are in plain sight and anyone who can read should know right off the bat. I shouldn't have to ask the members if they're okay participating, either, because when they join the group they should know what they're signing up for. It's right there.
I am not going to try to make my reply sound spiffy and act like I'm more intelligent than you. I don't need to. If I weren't such a headstrong person, I wouldn't even be replying to your comment on kagee-sakka's conversation to me. Basically, I don't appreciate your rudeness and how you act like you know it all and are justified for everything. Still (somehow) I respect your views and even agree with one or two of them. If you think you're justified in your thinking, that's a-okay. I believe I am (especially since I, too, know kagee-sakka personally) right in my actions. Since we attended the same school at one time and used to call each other frequently, I assumed that she would understand when I kicked her. I'll bet you knew none of that when you so arrogantly rode in on your high horse.

Considering you kicked me before I even logged on, guess that problems handled. I thought the group was a good idea, but if you want it to flourish, you will need to be more accepting of peoples busy lives. Alot of people join deviantART simply to watch, you created a group whose purpose was to "appreciate all literature" but how can they appreciate if you kick them for not being able to do something you never even asked if they would like to participate in. I am sorry my constructive critisim is a little biased because I wont lie, kicking me from the group did anger me quite a bit. Best of luck I supose, but I wont be reconsidering joining any of your groups. Which is sad because I thought it could have been a good idea if handled properly.

Sorry you feel that way, but honestly, I just assumed it easier for both of us for me to do it. Either way you leave the group and that way was just quicker. I didn't do it vindictively or anything like that.
