I am physically here, and I am biologically young. That is reality, but perhaps not the only truth.
Although my feet are planted on the Earth, I am blessed as surely as I am cursed to be forever wand'ring through the mire and haze that becloud my imagination. Fragments and shards of your reality occasionally stir me from my stupor, just momentarily, and these bits of reality confound me.
Perhaps I'm not completely young or wholly old. My hair holds my naivety and my fingers my wisdom.
By winter I am an old woman, but in the spring I am young again.
I cleave to those who inspire me, encourage me, and accept me without necessarily understanding.
I am mildly talented, and moderately practiced.
I am both weak and strong.
I am young and I am old.
I am desperate to stand out, and I yearn to fit in.

I am both shepherd and sheep, and occasionally I am the wolf.
I need oxygen. I need Christ.
I need your acceptance more than I'd like to admit.
