I'll definately do that! My parents go to Wellfleet every summer. They play music for the Episcopal church there - St James the Fisherman. I'll be up to visit them often. Meanwhile, I'm preparing some art that I want to try and sell in galleries.

Thanks for dropping me a note. I really thought your night shots are amazing. Incredibly technically well done too. I've been trying to learn more about taking night shots as of late. Care to share some of your techniques?

Yes, the Naked Buddha very interesting. It's basically an introduction to buddism and the history of it and the buddha. Very enlightening and comforting too. I found the audio version of it at my library so downloaded it on on iPod. What sort of meditating do you do? Are you into the martial arts?

I used to be into martial arts. I trainined for 8 years in Tai-Chi, Kung-Fu animal systems and finally over to Iaido (Japanese art of drawing the sword, got a bit expensive that one). I only do a bit of Tai-Chi or Chi-Gung occassionally. Meditation is my thing now, but not sure to follow the lesser or greater vehicle.

The last martial arts experience I had was meeting Michelle Leoh at work!!! I was the typical star struck fan, my mind went blank and I pretty much froze. I did chat to her but mainly froze

I've taken some tai chi and chi gung classes too. Actually just started a new tai chi class this week but I'm not really digging the teacher's methods. I think I'll stick to my videotapes I got from the last class I took. So how's thing's over in Cornwall? Isn't Cornwall where they have the "Run to the Sun" Festival?

I can understand getting a little tongue tied around Michelle Leoh. She was so beleivably sinister in Memoirs in a Geisha.

'Run to the Sun' or RTTS is on the south coast of Cornwall near Newquay. Most of my mates are over there as that's where I first lived when I moved there and where I still mainly surf. I've moved to the North coast now as it's closer to work (Eden Project).

I've not gone to the RTTS this year, not really my thing any more. It used to be bettles and surfers, but mainly street cars now, still a good live gig there though.

Do you work in art? Where aboouts are you if you don't mind me asking?

Hey Chris,
I tried to go to RTTS about 8 years ago but my then boyfriend insisted we go camping and surfing in Bude instead. Of course it then rained most of the weekend and no one even surfed because there were no waves *bluurgh*. I did get to walk around Tintangel though, which was nice.

I'd be happy to answer your other questions but I think it might be better if you e-mailed me directly. I noticed that you favorited a couple of the same deviations I've favorited. That one illustration of the girl pointing her feet at the camera is just insanely photographically detailed, isn't it? I'm in awe of some of the talent around here. Truly inspirational.
