Pandora's Tower is an Action-JRPG for the Nintendo Wii. Its significance is that it's one of three Action-JRPGs originally not intended for release in North America.

On June 11th, 2011, Nintendo of America announced they had no plans to release three Wii games in North America, even though all three games were fully translated into English and everything. The games are Xenoblade Chronicles, Pandora's Tower, and The Last Story. In response to this, a fan campaign known as Operation Rainfall was formed with the intention of convincing Nintendo of America to change their minds about their decision.

Eventually, their efforts paid off. Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story were released here in North America in April and August of 2012 respectively. Plus, around January 16th, 2013, it was announced that Pandora's Tower would be released over here in North America (originally scheduled to be released on March 26th, 2013, but it's been delayed to "Spring 2013").

With the release coming up, I've been trying to tell as many people as I can in hopes of spreading the word and boosting sales come launch day. If you would like to see more of Operation Rainfall and Pandora's Tower, here's some links.

I once posted a journal entry about its announced US release date shortly after reading about it, but I don't think that many people saw it. So, I decided to spread word like this.
