Hehe it's gonna be awesome. Although we can't decide on plans/not sure what to do, input?
I asked if I could make a lunch reservation at a restaurant and people could join, surprisingly a lot of people liked the idea, but then we realized there aren't restaurants in comfortable distance of the school. O__O
Anywhere between ~12 and ~18 people said they'd come (but I don't know how many people will show up or check conceptart for updates on the meet-up).
options that we've thought of:
1) eat at the school caf (easier, not as good food, much louder)
2) walk to a restaurant (25-30 min walk says google maps)
3) bus to coast (2 buses though, it would be cool to see the area)
So far it looks like most people are happy with options 2-3 what do you think?

Hehe, I'm gonna go to the Labyrinth on the 29th after the open house. And just not buy books :C
Luckily my parents are buying me a laptop, which I'm really thankful for... I'd have been screwed if I had to make that investment.
But I do need to pay for my school and res and stuff T__T which is why I have to take extra shifts if I want to spend $.
Do you have a job? I work at walmart 8D8 (<- bipolar face)

I had a job, right up until last week. It was at a local hockey arena, and basically involved sitting in a room with a much of BO-scented hockey equipment, and make sure nobody took anything. Though if anyone actually tried, not sure what I'd do. Maybe a flying tackle?

My boss was of the awkward sort, so even if texting weren't allowed he never really said anything x] And yupp, that pretty much sums up! I just sat in the equipment room during and between games. If a kid forgot his helmet or knee pads or something, he could sign it out with me.
I think my official title was "Equipment Room Manager". Weirdest job ever, and so damn boring O.e
Haha, I think if I tried to sit in the boys changeroom, I might get some odd looks xD

I really want to snatch up a Starbucks job (though I'd probably get fired pretty quick for drinking all the coffee. Totally worth it) oooh, or Indigo. Or better yet, Petsmart

I.... I've never been to Indigo T__T we do not have Indigo here.
I don't think so, at least. We have TONS of Chapters' and Coles. What's the difference? :/ Indigo sounds coolest in my opinion. Chapters sounds childish (and the logo looks childish). Coles sounds really adult. Indigo sounds teen But all of them have kids, teen and adult books T__T
Hehe I heard that if you work at Tim Horton's, during your breaks (and only during your breaks) the drinks are free for you. Maybe Starbucks has a similar policy? Or something like that. It would suck if you spent all day making coffee for others, and then you had to turn around and be treated like a customer and not like an employee.
Though I read on a blog somewhere that the second you work in a coffee shop, you stop liking coffee/similar drinks xD I can understand... working in Walmart, the though of Mickey-Dacs makes me feel sick xD

I doubt that I could ever stop loving coffee, though. I have such an intense caffeine addiction....If I go a day without, I get massive headaches x] Probably not such a good thing. But I see your point; I worked at a summer camp last summer, and have since realized that small children are annoying as hell O.e

No idea what the difference between the two are... but Starbucks is so expensive, and I don't like coffee T__T

If anyone is driving up, maybe we could steal their cars to drive to the restaurant? That'd save us a long walk. But even if we do walk for half a hour, restaurant sounds great!

did you go onto your college application website and accept the offer?
You still have to do that, and then you have to pay the fees (or a portion/deposit) by June 20th.
Otherwise you should be great! Congratz, there aren't many spots for animation, especially for int students.

Nope, I just checked my application status and it was listed as wait list. Yeah, mine was under consideration all morning until around 10:30am I believe, is when it changed.
I'm not sure :c I heard that if you're rejected you don't find out until your score sheet comes, which is sometime in April :c

i just had a huge fear that they never even received my portfolio (even though the Canada post tracking number said they did receive it), or that i didn't put my student number right so they couldn't identify it as mine -__- luckily right afterwards I found a page that said my portfolio and secondary school transcripts were completed. Ugh, this is frustrating!! D:<
