haha, well, fanfiction will be fanfiction.

I'd say go for when they're a little bit younger for maximum plausibility? as far as the series canon goes, I can't see fitting anything like a relationship in during their actual arc.
Cute tsuntsun kid love is always nice, though definitely not 'beautiful' like you're looking for, haha.
I don't really ship much in DN so my advice isn't best, sorry! 8DDD;

yes, but... i try to be more of a psychological writer, and i think mello at least is a hell of a lot deeper than most kids.
the combination would be interesting, for that element.
i just mean... something with meaning. meaning is beauty.

although some of them wouldn't be all that crackish if not for ages. like bbxmello.
i've done mattxmisa, but it was AU, so that kinda doesn't count.

i usually write a lot... except when the muse is hospitalized or takes an unannounced vacation. and i love death note, that's why i've written fanfiction for it. the characters are just so fucking complicated, i love trying to figure them out.
