In regards to being an overnight stocker, I gotta say it's a drastic change of pace. The best part is that it's during the night (meaning it cannot be extremely hot compared to day time, even in the summer), and it's inside a building no less.
For some odd reason or another, people seem nicer in general when they're inside a place. I'm guessing because it's cooler inside a house. The pay is far greater than what a cart associate receives.
In any case, have you heard of Smash Brothers? They just released a new one on the 3DS, and I'm getting it tonight.
Any new games/books/hobbies you've been delving into lately?

I have heard of Smash Bros. but I never really got into it the way my brother did.
I finally got my hands on The Last Of Us, but apparently my PS3 is having trouble playing it, so that's fun. Otherwise, the only serious development is a story that I have been working on lately called Questing. I am just now into chapter 3 and I have almost reached 13,000 words, so I'm really thrilled about that. The story is going really well, and it's kind of like a Dungeons & Dragons type of thing. The two main characters are Tarvin and Venora and thanks to a former Deviant Artist you can see their picture in my gallery.

I keep hearing about The Last of Us, but not sure if I should pick it up. If you get it working, let me know if it's any good.
On the subject of jobs, what are you doing these days? Did you guys find a new place to stay for now?

Well, when I feel that I've gotten a bit further in, I may go ahead and drop chapter one here to gauge reactions. I'll let you know how that and The Last Of Us goes, but the game may be a bit longer as it appears as if I need a whole knew system to play it.
As for jobs, I am currently working at DSW: Designer Shoe Warehouse. It's about 3 and a 1/2 miles from me, but it's actually a fairly cool job so I'm making it work. We have secured a new home, though the settling in process is always a bit interesting.

Designer Shoe Warehouse... huh. Story hits home with me - currently looking for a pair of shoes. The old work boots I had from my last job are pretty much destroyed and the guy who makes him is out of business.
In regards to settling into a new home, I'd imagine so. Especially if you're in Texas. This state can be... unique. Along with the majority of its inhabitants.

Sorry to hear about the Harsh Lessons. I've had a few of those myself. Lost two good friends over a simple misunderstanding. Don't know whether I should be happy for you or sorry for you about the "Return To Wal-Mart" Everyone I've talked to when I stopped in said things haven't really changed. I'll have to check on your new poem, just got my internet set up again, so I'm able to get on my computer again.
This move was more for my mom's health reasons. She's had bad knees for a while now, and things have finally gotten bad enough that she can't handle two story houses anymore. Since I still live at home, I was able to help with the move, which seems to be appreciated, so... I'll be looking into a job here shortly, what with my seriously depleted funds and all, just hoping things will go better on that front than they have lately.

Meh. Working at the one over by Renaissance Square. The people there are far more friendly compared to most of the people in Keller. That, and it's far closer compared to the other one... and I got friends backing me up this time around.
In regards to your mother, I do hope things get better for her. May want to consider getting knee braces to help stem the tide of pain she endures.
In regards to you finding a job, I believe things will go very well for you - they'd have to be MAD to turn down someone with as much experience as you.

Oh, I'm back into the fray with Wal-mart again. Unlike last time with the one we both worked at (hint, hint) the guys who interviewed me (& hired me) seemed to understand the hellish storm that everyone endured during those days.
As for how I've been, well... I've learned a couple lessons, very hard ones at that. But I think with these new lessons I've learned, I think I've become a better person in some sense.
... My only regret is that said hard lessons came at the expense of 3 friends - however, some of the best lessons tend to be the roughest ones.
