i have to prepare my house for the interhouse drama competition (coz i'm house captain) which is taking up a lot of time plus i'm taking an extra subject so that's more work. art just has lots of coursework anyway and i don't want to fall behind with that so just trying my best to juggle everything.

well i tell people in hong kong that as well and they're all like wow that's great! but actually since it's a boarding school, and i'm a boarder i'm bound to be house captain at some point coz we change house captains every term. no one is allowed to be it for the whole year so i'm doing this term which is the drama term and next term which is music. i could've done sports but with the stupid rule i can't. might be better not to actually coz it means i don't have to organise everything!

well Head Artist sounds good as well!! art is such a sensitive subject and so many people are considered good at it so being 'Head Artist' is great!

hmm not sure about winning but our house always comes like 2nd! well the other house's plays are really funny as well apparently so i have to make mine as hilarious as possible. i'm even getting people to do some 'Swan Lake' and i have to teach them how to dance it. it's a nightmare!!

yes it sounds stupid and our house colour is green. when we're younger we have to wear bags which are the house colours. ours looked like a turtle shell on our backs.

In Hong Kong though, not just anyone can be house captain. They have to have LOADS of qualities and shits which I'm sure you know all about. I'm sure you make an excellent house captain though

wellwell i'm not that bad that i don't have any qualities! in my school i'm actually the most active chinese person (not being offensive to anyone else or anything) the rest of them are just brainy. me, i missed out on the brainy stuff and do stuff like sports, music, drama and art instead. which is why my subjects are completely different from them! they're all science-y and maths and i'm business studies, art, french, maths and IT! ok i should shut up now.

is it good that you're not in school or what??

since i've come here, it's impossible for ballet to be a big part of life now coz it's hard to get lessons. i still actually have a lesson yea but it's not enough and there's so much work already hai~
