I can't say I'm familiar with the series or the characters, but you do awesome cosplays, so I'm sure they'll turn out just as awesome as the others!

My friends and I are working on cosplays of our own, and I just loved how your Sango turned out. I'm so going to have my work cut out for her...

Yeah, it would figure that the one character I want to cosplay from Inuyasha has a ridiculously complicated outfit...

I'm trying to figure out what materials to use for her uniform. Any fabric suggestions?

You definately need a two-way stretch. Look for spandex or swimwear fabric at your local store. I would, however, steer you away from anything shiny.

For the armour, I used a material called automotive headliner, which engineers use to roof cars and trucks. I'm not sure if that available where you are (I lucked out and grew up in a costume shop) but it's worth asking around. Headliner is a thin foam that is pressed between two layers of denier. It's very useful for structural building on costumes.

As for the boots, those are my mom's leather calf boots from the eighties. I recommend Salvation Army or Goodwill. Let me know if I can be of further assistance!
