Cool. I'm from Long Eaton. You'd usually see me in Beeston though. ><

yeah to be fair there's not to do in either Long Eaton or Beeston. Don't tell me you're one of those girls in black on BMX bikes outside sainbury's in Beeston?

Haha no. I only go to Beeston for College, sometimes walk into the Town Centre and then wander back to College again. I don't lead an eventful life xD

alright, so you go to Castle College, formerly known as Broxtow.
not a bad place to start out any art career i guess

no problem, i only found out after your publicicty with Corel. Did you really work only with PSP? I have been using it since PSP3 and have only ever tried photo manipulation with it, leaving the paint and heavy stuff to things like Corel Painter and Photoshop. But i agree with your comments on how user friendly it is, although its been getting a bit muddled since version 7. Oh and one last thing, did you know how to paint or was it a self taught thing? thanks

And you as well brother,
Let us inspire each other.
I think there is a built in block for painters and photographers to blend their two mediums, as if that might dilute the potency of the work. But I believe the hybrid is ever more beautiful BECAUSE of the mix . Like children with mixed blood, the most beautiful in the world. The best of both sides coming together to create an entirely new form.Just IMAGINE what the Impressionists would do with photoshop...

Well met. Although i have to hand it to you, Sculpture, Photographer, Photoshoper, Decorator, Jeweller, Door-makerer... I don't think i've come across so many mixed mediums. I personally only venture with several of those

You're young (and talented) there's still time...
I was raised by 2 artists that included me at an early age in their projects. My mother worked in fabric and her studio was in the house. My father was a master sculptor and his studio was about 100 ft from the house. We lived in a remote fishing village on the coast of Maine. It was incredibly beautiful but not alot to do . So for me,it was traipsing between my parents studios soaking up as much of the training as I could possibly stand. My older brother and sister thought I was daft...LOL but not now...

i did that interview with Corel but I have yet to see it lol...i guess i didnt get my copy of the newsletter yet. version 7 was always my favorite psp version, but i have gotten used to 9 and 10...i use psp and sometimes painter 9. i like painter 9 alot but it's hard for me since i don't have a graphics tablet, just a mouse. i read a couple tutorials about painting skin (which i'm still not very good at) but everything else i just experimented with

i have such a problem with all the versions that i have them all on my quick launch, psp7,8,9, painter classic/essentil/9, photoshop 6/7/cs2. I suppose new doesn't always mean better . I recommending trying out the wacom volito 2 pen pad, its only GBP26 ~ $40. its a lot more natural than the mouse, althougth you're probably not the first person who swear by the mouse for everything. I have wacom's pro model at the minute and its a dream to use.
