I'm getting my surgery for my spine on the 15th. I have no idea how it'll work. How bad was the pain?

You can't really notice the pain with all the medicine you will be on, the worst part is figuring out how to move the first week. You won't be able to roll yourself over without something to hold on to. In the hospital beds, you have the bars on either side to help but once you're at home, having someone there for you is invaluable. Also, low toilets are painful. All questions are welcome! I love to help others going through this.
