Yes, knave finished the left sleeve but haven't posted yet.
Trying to decide if I should do my back then my right arm or vice versa....

Have you thought of cover up rather than the laser?

I tried but it's a pretty big piece and it's black and so it would be difficult to cover up unless I wanted a black and grey tattoo, which I don't. I want something with color.

Fair enough.
I would be interested in ther final result as I would be concerned the 'scar' left by the laser may not take the ink... I have a spot on my inner arm where i had a pretty light scar from a burn and when the tattooist tryed to roll some purple in it didnt like ite. It ook 7 or 8 passes to get it to stick.
After healing I have some small light spots in the purple where the underlying scar didnt hold the ink molecules.

The laser should break apart the ink and disperse it throughout the skin. It shouldn't leave any scaring. Typically, it will not completely remove the ink but disperse it so that it will be easier to cover up. I have a scar from a vaccination on my right arm and it took ink pretty well. My right arm that I want to cover is not a bad tattoo at all. It's actually well done. So the ink has stayed intact for awhile now......that and we just don't get a lot of sun in Seattle!

I get what you mean about the sun.
Everytime we go for a holiday to a beach or the like I end up doing whatever i can to keep my left arm in the shade. It tends to get incredibly hot in direct sunlight. Not to mention my artist would kill me if I let some of the whites go yellow from the sun.

Good luck with the coverup I am looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future. BTW Bodyscape by Brett 2 is langushing as my home screen on my Ipad.. I get asked all the time what/who it is....

Thanks for the compliment. The left arm is all finished but I have been slack posting pics.
I'm liking the bats...how has the chest piece turned out after "calming" down?

Haha, it's doing well. I'm still getting compliments on it, so I suppose it still holds its charm. I also still get the "did it hurt?" question, which makes me laugh every time. The best answer I've found is "it hurt my wallet more than my body" - but the same cannot be said for these bats! Holy hell!
