It's all a question of time ... actually, not really of time, but of priorities. I swapped my design classes for dance classes, my new job takes more time, and I spent more time outside the house in general.

I did ofcourse not stop fully being creative. I still do some small designs from time to time, but compared to earlier, it's almost nothing. I actually went from overkill to underkill imo .

what kind of dancing? I noticed I never really replied to this message of yours and since you visited my profile again recently I kinda wanted to see what you were up to lately ... and then I stumbled on this message ... lol, your DA is kinda dead isn't it? If messages from 2009 are at the top

So how are you now? I recalled something we once did ... that sleeping theater performance thingy that was really neat.

I do remember the sleeping theater. That is to say: I remember the concept, I remember where it was, who I went with and that I had a very good time. But I can't remember anymore what it was about :-s. Didn't they play some music? It was theatre, there must've been a story too, no?

Pretty dead it is indeed. I think I stopped the dancing classes 3 years ago. We did waltz, cha cha cha, jive, tango, and some others. I think I forgot all the steps by now .

At the moment most of my energy is going to the renovation of a house that had to be stripped down and redone completely. We should be able to move in mid next year. I'll jump a hole in the air then , it takes a lot of my time and energy. 

I'm also trying to startup a business in custom designed playing cards, but progress is minimal because of the above. The illustrator I was working with quit and I haven't had time to find a new one (or learn to draw myself ).

And how are you?

You look like you're on a roll with your illustrations at the moment.

Cool, renovating your own house is pretty neat

hm, I've been making playing cards also, but then I saw how much the printer asked and decided to do something else instead
So yeah, now I'm mostly working on my illustrations and they are really coming along great.

The illustrator you have been working with quit? You'll find another one for sure!!

Things are quite good further, except then 4 the fact that I have a bit pain the throat. I'm living with some friends in Brussels for quite some time now. I also found a nice girlfriend in the mean time. A german one

@ Art & Lia, Rue de Samedi 16 or 17 (I forgot) in Brussels
You'll have to be quick though, it ends Saturday (that day included)
I'll pick up my stuff Sunday before noon.
I have a second exhibit in Antwerp the 4th of July, and I'm still scouting around in Antwerp for after that
so, things are going well professionally
I found a new hobby -> LARP and I meet so many interesting people this way, so my guess is that boyfriend stuff isn't going to be much longer (not that I haven't had any, but the last one ended in october 08.)

You should so find me on facebook - it's so much easier to keep in touch and know about what the other person is doing

I'm a bit late, but I did actually see your exhibition (it's a 2 minute walk from my place). They had already put it into boxes to give you back (though they said they wanted to reuse some of them for a festival that would take place the week thereafter). It was nice, but I had already seen it on dA offcourse .

I saw you did meet the man of your dreams. Is it a LARPer?

well, the exhibition was cool just because the drawings are large(r), in comparison with the computer screen and you can feel'm better, less digital you see ^-^
but neat that you got around to art&Lia's

yes, my boyfriend is a LARP'er ... we got together at a LARP event for that matter
some evil rat person had shot me with his 'love gun' and pointed "my boyfriend" as the object of my affection.
haha, we had lot's of laughs and fun ... and you see how it turned out
