No problem!
I like violins,in fact I don't have one because I don't think that if I start now to play it I will be able to do it properly.
My friends told me that you have to start learning how to play it as a child.
Anyway,I have my ukelele whose strings sound exactly the same as the violin ones.

I think it's never late to start learning how to play an instrument. It's true that is easier when you are a child but if you really want to do it, then...DO IT!
