I'm not in uni. I guess my school would be the same as the American high school. It's kind of tricky since our school system probably is different from yours. But we do get our own lockers.

Umm well it's probably similar to yours; first we have primary school (7-12 year olds), then secondary school (not quite sure what it is called, 13-15 y). These two are obligatory. Then we have upper secondary school/ high school (16-19y) but you can also choose to go to a school that is more focused on practical stuff, that doesnt really require brains. And then after that theres uni. Sounds familiar?

Going to cut to the chase: do you have a tumblr? 'Cause it seems like we're both pretty bad at responding to messages on here... 

It sounds somewhat similar, but not quite. Primary school is for those aged 4/5 - 10/11 (depending on when your birthday is), and secondary is for those aged 11/12-17/18 - although you can leave secondary once you're aged 16 - in Scotland. Must be nice to be able to start school so late...

Hahah yes, I do actually. My url is sherlockin-with-loki (it used to be a strict fandom blog, but now it's more of a bad-puns-and-kittens blog, just a fair warning in case you decide to follow me). I'm horrible when it comes to answering messages (or anything that requires energy really), so I hope you don't take it personally.

Sounds awful that you have to begin school so early. I went on a language course in the UK over the summer and my host family had 5 yo that went to school, I was shocked!

Mmmh, but it's not so bad when you're in primary school 'cause the first few years are usually filled with lots of crafts etc, and they make an effort when it comes to making learning fun - it was like that at least when I started. Think they're trying to introduce more academic stuff at that age for some stupid reason.
