I passed my driving test!!!

I mean the friends I have rn feel very temporary because we're all going our separate ways in a few months for uni
so it's like, they're nice, and we're all arty but
they don't really understand me because I haven't spent enough time with them for them to really see my personality?

oh hey I went for an interview today!! it was my back up choice for uni but it was a good practise
but my portfolio it A1
and I have like 50+ A1 sheets in there, plus two full sketchbooks
and my arms kind of feel like I've been lifting weights that are too heavy
and my tendond feel like they might sn ap hhha ha

mm basically if it's half the group or less I can talk 
but if there's everyone I just feel really squashed by all their big personalities...?
like they're so big there's no space for me and I don't want to try and make one anyways

welllll some unis ask for a mini online portfolio first of maybe 10 or 15 images
and then if they like it they invite you to interview
so you bring all of your work and they take you on a tour and look through your portfolio
whilst you're gone
and then you come back and they ask you questions
like
what inspires you? why do you want to go here? what do you see yourself doing with your degree?
stuff like that
and yea because they look at your work without you there,
the idea is that they've already seen how good your stuff is but they do the interview to find out what kind of person you are
and if you would match with their course
my tutor said that the course leaders who conduct the interviews basically build the year group in their heads
so they pick people they thing would create a good environment together??
so if your portfolio is really nice but you have a bad personality or don't know how to answer the questions, you'll leave them with 
the impression that you didn't want to go there because you came unprepared
likewise if they sort of like your work but aren't sure about you and you're really strong and confident in your interview,
they'll probably base their decision on your personality as well
so then they don't tell u on the day
but you get an email or a letter telling you their decision
so you might get a conditional offer: so you've got a place but it depends on you achieving a certain grade in your foundation (because you should be applying after a foundation year, not straight after school)
or it might be unconditional, meaning you've got a place either way!
so yea I've had one interview and got 1 conditional offer, and I have 3 more interviews to go to!

ugh my laptop got messed up by windows 10
it caused it to go into a restart loop and idk how to fix it ;A;
which means so art for a while (unless I borrow my sis' tablet and laptop hh)
BUT!!
I got into all of my choices woo!
so I accepted my first choice <333
but there's the whole issue of student finance to do now
which is gross

hh it's an ASUS zenbook!! I wanted the one with the nice processor but it was £££
so I have the basic version but the screen resolution is rlly nice and it's super thin and light and chic!
Although...it only has a micro HDMI port and for my cintiq I need a full sized one so I bought an adaptor off amazon, but, I, being cheap, bought one for like...£2 and surprise surprise
it broke
so
I still can't draw!!!
oooh hey I'm putting up my final show next week so it's not a real week but// and it's gonna be so cool!
we're setting up our studio space like a department store and we all have an area to display our garments/products and they're gonna be sold!!
ah I have pics on my instagram (lausart) (do u have insta?? I got it recently and I'm still a noob but idk I felt like I should get it)
I made a top and shorts co-ord set, printed some clutch bags, made some printed purses, and also made bracelets and necklaces!

oh yea it ends so soon
and then on the 10th of MAy I'm going interrailing with some chums for two weeks
Im going  to Amsterdam, Austria for a stop over, Budapest and Croatia
I'm so excited aaa

It's my final 2 weeks of year 11, then I'll be in yr 12 starting from next term.
we start yr 12 a term earlier so that we can prepare for the finals that will get us into University next year.
