My laptop is giving me trouble, the vents are making strange noises and the last time there was a problem with them, the cluster broke so I decided not to turn it on until I can find out what's wrong. I'm afraid you'll have to wait more than I planned for the drawing, also because I'm in full cosplay season and I need to do some maintenance on the Toothless costume before Sunday... I'll team up with Hiccup and Astrid, at last!

Phew! Glad to hear it. I suspect mine is going to need replacing one of these days but I keep putting it off - it always seems like a good idea until I remember how much laptops cost. And yes, I'd love to see that video if you find it somewhere. (I'm not on Facebook, or I'd go looking for your pictures there.)

I mean, the old thing here (the laptop, I've had it for six years) is making a bit of odd noises, but according to my dad it's nothing to worry about if it doesn't get too warm. So tomorrow I'll get back to the drawing.
One of the two Hiccup cosplayers in my region is done with her costume, and the other - a boy - is about to. I'm getting so excited for it, I just can't wait for Sunday!

Mine overheats if I don't pay attention to it too, so I know what you mean. But now I have a fan that it sits on for when I'm leaving it somewhere poorly ventilated like a couch cushion, and that works fairly well - at least, it hasn't crashed of heatstroke lately.
And awesome! That's really neat that you know already who will be there and who they're going as. Sounds like it will be lots of fun.

Yeah, the only problem is that I have promises to keep. I had already promised Gio, the boy, I'd go with him (I owe one to his girlfriend, who will also cosplay Astrid - and I've already seen her and she's a look-alike). But as for Anny, the other cosplayer, she relied a lot on me while making her costume. I was the one who gave her the idea to use the mats for the armor 
For now my solution is that next weekend, in Bari, I'll stay with Gio and his gf. And then, in Lucca (biggest con in Italy, I'll stay there for three days), I'll give up for one day my Mary Read costume and be Toothless for Anny.

Don't worry, I got it covered. I could also borrow my sister's computer, she has GIMP and her bf installed my Wacom on it. After all the times she took my Galaxy Tab, she definitely owes me one.
As for the pictures, it's more likely people at the con will take a lot of pictures of me and then send me them on Facebook.
At the last con I had a sign with Toothless's drawing of Hiccup and I kept showing it around, I also proved myself to be a handful for Daenerys, and when at the cosplay contest intro the judges sang For The Dancing and the Dreaming after Rains of Castamere and I See Fire, I started clapping on time and by the end of the song, all the people in the room were clapping.

No updates for today, coloring takes long even if it's just the basic colors... I just hope I find some way for the shading and stuff not to last that long... when I start something, I just can't wait to finish!
