# About me

Stuff about me... I am a Christian. This is an important part of who I am. And it's sometimes tough but it's not something I would ever give up.

I am an artist in the vaguest sense, meaning I'm not overly talented and haven't been doing much lately either. I used to enjoy photography, writing, drawing and generally being crafty (as in sneaky, not artistic =P ) but study and illness have crushed the energy out of me to pursue these things. So now my time is spent spying on the artworks of others rather than creating my own.

I am also a scientist, professionally (not the wisest career choice though) and also unprofessionally, which basically means I enjoy learning about the world I'm in. Knowledge is important, kids.

My boyfriend is special. He somehow tolerates the fact that I am an 80 year old jaded, cynical, worldly, cranky hermit crossed with a shy, naive 4 year old kid. My family is also special. For similar reasons. And all these people are crazy but important to me.

So yeah... that's it.

The colours, the contrast and the sharpness of the picture. I like that it's complicated and detailed but not too busy. Also, I just like sunsets.
