Hello and thank you for adding A Selkie's LoveSea pups newly born in sun
They have long grown up,
Blue skies given in to dark ones.
A Winters beach filled by moulting seals
Observed by a maiden of beauty that goddesses rue
Seen upon the sandy dunes uttering appeals
To Poseidon, of what she demanded none knew
However each day when seals return she starts anew
The ritual missed only when her children she did bear
From then on the dune footprints increased by two
Until one evening the maiden waded in to the deep blue a slave to it's snare
Last seen in cold seas yet where now is that maiden fair?
The dunes miss her feet not their place taken by her husband, children in hand
There he and the offspring they shared gaze longingly for a clue
of their beloved mother and wife whom loved to gaze beyond the sand
                      Where horizon meets the blue of the sea
           & to your favourites.
