ive been in hiding for a bit. Just chillin out all summer drawing up some art. I have a good ton to throw on soon. Umm, i'll take some photo's of my canvas peice (I finally finished it...it's the size of my wall, and done in permenent marker that makes it look like it's shaded by smearing it. it's hard to explain, but it looks awsome.)

^_^ I am just celebrating my 700th page view. I would like to thank everyone who stopped in to have a look at the gallery, and all who favorited them and graced me with your comments. I know it's not quite 1000, but it is also the day that my free trial version of DA subscription ends. This gave me the ability to see more works of talented artists which I am very gratefull of, for most of you, you have inspired me in many ways, as an artist, and person as a whole.

Now that I am going old-school, and the last layer of dead subsription skin peels off of me, I feel that I should work even harder for a better gallery. More mind expanding drawings, authentic camera shots and composition, and experimenting with more complex techniques.

to be honest, the most time consuming thing in that pic was that shading. The flames are merely smearing of a color dodge, which makes it look shinny

Thanks alot. Yeah, those selections of prefferences were chosen a year ago. People's tastes change, and gear them selves for more aquired ones.

Some stuff I think people should at least take a slight gander at, at least once in their life times.

Movies: Gumo, krum, Max, eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, lost highway, anything with george carlin in it, the life of david gale, and adaptation

Music: if your into techno, open your mind to some ficsher spooner, and simply jeff. Also, tea party, the doors, and van halen are fucking amazing.

In the art department, I think more people should get more involved. Take a look around at new upcoming artists. I think we're living in a new high renosance... and there are artists in our life time riding that wave... such as paul booth (tatooist)
