Thanks! Sorry I don't find time to work on it anymore
I hope I will soon, and make it available for Firefox.

Will the extension be within Microsoft Edge in the near future....?

Good question. Firefox first, for sure, so not "near future", sorry.

not even with this easy Edge Extension Toolkit ? It'll convert Chrome Extensions to Edge extensions so easily.

logeg In reply to Mikey186 [2016-11-18 09:16:14 +0000 UTC]
The state of Edge extensions is "even less compatible than Firefox" at the moment.
Also, unlike Firefox I don't think there's a way to publish a public test version - I'll have to look into that.
In general though, no, it's not significantly more difficult than FF porting. But FF goes first.

Such things are (usually) temporary. Do you have any unusual configuration (like not watching certain message types at all)?

1) I'm doing some potentially incompatible stuff, can you test it with the Beta?
2) If it still works, can you write a guide in form of a deviation? I will add it to the group.

1) I'll have a think about that.
2) It still works and since you asked, I've written it up and uploaded.Β axel-letterman.deviantart.com/β¦

That it did, but fear not, it's fixed already!Β
0.7.5.2: Fixing the dreadful ERRDear me, you guys are quick to react when something breaks. And you are numerous as well.
But this time, I noticed the problem myself, and the fix was ready very fast but I was waiting until Google's AI heuristics approved my update, which took much longer than I'd like and is completely outside my control.
The problem is due to DeviantART kicking Support messages out of Notification Center. My old requests that included them were considered malformed as a result.
The fix is out right now, but your Chrome might be slow to pick it up (a couple of hours at worst). To force it to update, you can use this guide.
Regards,
Alexander.

Export, to import into another instance of Chrome?
I kinda hoped to do this with Chrome Sync, but don't have much time to work on this lately.
Anyway, simple export/import should not be too hard. I'll look at it.
