Yeah, I've just practiced a lot with the tools I have, it's nearly been 7 years since I started drawing, but if ur wondering where to start, I'll tell you that I started with visual aids of other artists I liked.

One artist in particular was idolnya~ she did a lot of sonic art and I loved them to pieces, so I tried to look at how she drew and found out while fine lining she makes her out lines different sizes to make the image stand out. You should see her work she's brilliant.

As for colouring I just practiced lots and lots with my Copic markers and got better every time

...sorry for the long comment, but in summery the tools I use are fineliners and copics, as for learning to draw, just find a bunch of visual aids, as long as u don't copy the exact picture, U'll be able to draw the characters in all kinds of poses.

Also which fineliners do you use and where do you get your copic markers if you don't mind me asking? Do you use the ciao ones? There's so many, do you layer the same colour for highlights or do you have different shades? And do you use a white gel pen or anything for glimmers?

Wowzers thats a lot of questions  Anyway I'll try and answer one at a time.

For fine liners any ones will do as long as their waterproof, if your wondering about sizes I use a 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 and 0.8 and if I wanted I also use 0.3.

As for buying copics I get mine at an art shop near by my college, they only sell CIAO ones, but if your looking online I'd recommend tigerpens.co.uk

For Highlights I do indeed have different shades of the same colour, if you use the same colour to many times you'll get a muddy look on your drawing, there is a tutorial on how I use my colours lightest to darkest here ---> sta.sh/01ltqyifksm7

Also yes I have a small and medium white gel pen for highlights although I don't use it much, since I'm getting the hang of it still.
